Clinic runs out of critical meds

A nurse at the clinic, who did not want to be named, confirmed that the clinic has run out of several different medications. She warned that there can be serious health implications for diabetic patients who default on their treatment.

Patient at the clinic also said that they have not been able to access penicillin treatment for STIs, while another patient with an eye condition said that he could not get eye drops.

Patients also expressed a general dissatisfaction with the quality of service they receive at the clinic and complained about the unfriendliness of nurses.

‘€œWe spoke with the clinic committee and they know our grievances with the clinic,’€ said one patient. ‘€œThey said they are looking into it with the Department of Health’€.
